Guelph Food Technology Centre (GFTC) is a Certification Body licensed and accredited to deliver audits and certification services for CanadaGAP. GFTC handles activities such as scheduling audits, assigning auditors, performing audits, reviewing audit reports, following up on corrective actions, issuing certificates, billing for audit services, etc.

Audit Fees

GFTC will bill you after the audit for the audit fee and auditor travel charges. Contact GFTC for more information about the cost of audit and certification services. Likewise, any questions related to audit billing by GFTC can be directed to the contacts above.

Service Delivery Standards

Audit Reports

GFTC will send you your final audit report directly, not through your auditor. Turnaround of the audit report takes three weeks to one month. You should not expect your report and final score sooner than that. If it takes longer than one month to receive your audit report, please contact GFTC directly (see “Contact GFTC”).

Audit Certificates

Please contact GFTC if you receive an incorrect certificate, have not yet received your certificate, need a hard copy, etc.

Complaints, Appeals and Disputes

GFTC offers a formal complaint, appeals and dispute resolution procedure if you disagree with audit findings, wish to launch a complaint about your audit, or experience other problems with GFTC services. Please contact:
