Updates to the CanadaGAP OFFS Manuals are now available for download from our website by clicking
here.
The latest revisions include the changes required for recognition of CanadaGAP by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
If your customer does not require compliance with the GFSI-recognized version of CanadaGAP this season, you can continue using Version 4.0 (Version 5.2 for Potatoes). In that case, your audit will continue to be based on the current version of the Audit Checklist (Version 4.2), which remains available for download from the website
here.
When scheduling your audit, please be prepared to confirm for the certification body which version of the manual you are using.
If your customer requires you to implement the GFSI-recognized version of CanadaGAP this season, you will need to upgrade your manual to Version 5.0 (Version 5.3 for Potatoes). Please refer to the
summary of the affected sections, and reprint those pages of the manual. If you wish to see the changes in detail, the full revisions documents for each manual are posted on the website.
Version 5.0 of the Audit Checklist is also being released to correspond with Version 5.0 of the OFFS Manuals (Version 5.3 for Potatoes). Auditors may also wish to refer to the revisions document on the website detailing the changes made to the Audit Checklist.
