Identification and Traceability

Q. How do I determine a score for question one of the traceability/identification section in the Audit Checklist since I have already assessed each of the records listed separately?

A. You are looking to ensure that they can trace product one step up and one step back through the records. It may be that there are holes in the traceability even though their records appear to be complete when they are looked at alone, or that they can still establish traceability even though the individual records are incomplete. This question is not asking about the labeling or identification of the product (e.g., correct labeling information and pack ID).
