We invite you to join us for a special ceremony presenting the 2025 Sheri Nielson Auditor Recognition Award! The prize is awarded annually by CanAgPlus in recognition of an outstanding CanadaGAP auditor. The award ceremony is open to anyone who wishes to attend. You do not need to be a CanAgPlus member to participate.
For the first time, presentation of this award will be done in-person on December 3rd at 1:30 p.m. MST (prior to the CanAgPlus Annual General Meeting). The ceremony will be preceded by a lunch and followed by the CanAgPlus AGM. The award recipient and other special guests will be in Calgary for the presentation. The ceremony will also be broadcast virtually for anyone who is not able to attend in-person.
How to participate:
- Attend the award presentation in-person in Calgary.
- Attend the award presentation virtually.
This award ceremony will precede the AGM, so program participants who register for the AGM will automatically be registered for the award ceremony – they do not need to register again.
To register, simply respond to info@canadagap.ca with your name, affiliated organization and indicating if you wish to attend virtually or in-person. Ceremony details will be sent to participants closer to the event.
Sheri Nielson Auditor Recognition Award
This recognition is awarded annually by CanAgPlus to a deserving CanadaGAP auditor who has shown extraordinary heart, dedication and commitment to their role. The recipient will be an auditor who has made a significant contribution to the program, the growers, and the industry that CanadaGAP serves. In this way we wish to help keep Sheri’s memory alive. Sheri Nielson was a long-time CanadaGAP auditor and much-loved member of the agricultural community who passed away in 2022.
