Version 11.0 of the CanadaGAP Program Management Manual has been published for the 2026 season, effective April 1st.

Component 3, which describes in detail how the certification program operates, is now available on the CanadaGAP “Management Manual” webpage. Tracked changes of Component 3 can be made available upon request.

For an overview of the changes, download the ‘Summary of Changes for 2026’ document, also available from the CanadaGAP “Management Manual” webpage. This document may provide the clearest overview of changes that may impact program participants, such as the role consultants can play during a CanadaGAP audit.

Re-benchmarking against GFSI Benchmarking Requirements (v2024) is currently underway for Version 11.0 of CanadaGAP Program normative documents.

Corrective Actions Report

Please note that the CanadaGAP Corrective Actions Report has been updated to Version 11.0 for 2026. As always, a copy can be accessed from the “Corrective Actions” page on the CanadaGAP website. This webpage also links to the CanadaGAP Technical Procedure (TP-02-CA) on Corrective Actions Follow-up.

Corrective Action/Plan (CAP) Guide

The Corrective Action/Plan (CAP) Guide has also been updated for 2026. This document provides guidance for operations on how to correct non-conformances that may occur during an audit. Please note the guide has examples only and is NOT an exhaustive list. The updated CAP guide can also be found on the “Corrective Actions” page.
