How can extenuating circumstances (e.g., the COVID-19 pandemic) impact CanadaGAP certification? What adjustments can be made to the audit and certification process?

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CanadaGAP Program collaborated with other industry partners (GFSI, relevant government bodies, Certification Bodies, etc.) to navigate challenges and to develop guidance documents. These documents now also outline possible policies and procedures should other extenuating circumstances arise in which adjustments to certification – such as partially remote audits – may be required.
