Yes, watches are considered a type of jewellery.

Both Forms C and D state:

Employee Jewellery and Other Personal Effects

  • Bracelets, necklaces and other jewellery (except for rings) are not worn

Watches have not been listed in the above requirement directly; however, it is the intention of this requirement to protect against any type of jewellery that may present a source of physical contamination. “Other jewellery” includes any type of watch, anklets, and body piercings (e.g., ears, nose, etc.). The operation must follow the procedure and mitigate the risk that jewellery presents whether in the production site, packinghouse or product storage.
