The CanadaGAP Program joins the food safety community worldwide to celebrate the 5th annual World Food Safety Day 2023. The day is formally recognized by organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and Codex.
This year’s theme is “Food standards save lives” and builds on the overarching theme “Food safety, everyone’s business”.

As a food safety program designed to help implement and maintain effective food safety procedures within fresh produce operations, CanadaGAP is pleased to promote and support recognition of World Food Safety Day. This annual event is an opportunity for companies around the world to drive food safety awareness.
