CanadaGAP wishes to advise program participants and other stakeholders that the CanadaGAP Food Safety Manual for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables and the Food Safety Manual for Greenhouse Product will not be updated and reissued for 2019.

Program participants may continue to use the current version of the documents (Version 7.1 2018), which are available to download free of charge on the CanadaGAP website under the Manuals section.

REMINDER: Even though the CanadaGAP Manuals remain the same for 2019, your own copy of the manual needs to be reviewed annually to confirm that you are maintaining the procedures and/or to reflect any changes in your operation.

Updates to other CanadaGAP documents:

Please note that the Audit Checklist and the Self-Declaration and Self-Assessment Checklist will be reissued and posted to the website prior to April 1, 2019 when revisions take effect. A revisions document showing the changes between the previous and the new versions of the audit checklist will be available at that time. Program participants and other stakeholders will be informed once the new versions are available.

The CanadaGAP Program Management Manual will also be reissued with updates effective April 1, 2019.
